Being powerful isn’t about being better than others.
Or talking down to people.
Or treating people badly.
People who are truly powerful are people who are generous, kind and good.
They are genuine and authentic.
They mean what they say.
They do good – not to show off, or get adoration and acclamation, but because they genuinely care, and want to do good.
In fact, it’s their good and authentic nature that makes them truly powerful.
Because power gained through force or deception doesn’t last long.
There’s a reason why despots and tyrants don’t last long.
There’s also a reason why often the most powerful people are the ones who don’t want to yield any power.
Do good, to the best of your ability.
Because at the end of the day, that really is what matters.
